just got a small racoon butterfly from my LFS. seems to be doin fine in my FOWLR tank but it wont eat! so far i have tried flakes, frozen mysid shrimp, and a spirulina frozen mixture. help?

I also read that nitrates can build up in the sand. is that correct? Because im pretty sure none of my cleanup crew goes in the sand
