i have a purple zoa i got off here a few months ago and i get 4-5 new polyps a week on my rocks from it. I have others for the same amount of time with 0 new polyps.

i cant scrape it off with anything including a razorblade. it does not come off like the algae does. it is a film on the inside of the glass.

Bah sorry, I cant believe i missed the 80-100 nitrates.. check the water thats going in? I had high nitrates in the water i was putting in my tanks years ago and thats why i could never get them down.

I just took back an anemone crab due to the fact that it was eaying my polyps..... my guess is def. the crab
