    I'm fairly new to the hobby and I have a stubby leather finger coral in my tank and today I noticed its got some weird tan/white looking stuff on the sides going around the back side of it and I'm not sure if its dying or shedding. I need help to figure something out on this

    Is it necissary to wait the 6 months to the anemones? Just concerned with already having my clowns in my tank and if they will do any damage to any of my corals, or will they all be fine till that 6 month window? I don't see any aggression from them they just measily swim around enjoying there...

    I'm more worried why the sail fin tangs are dying within 3 hours of being put in. The sail fins are $40 to the $10 clowns. I don't understand how they are dying off the way they are. Any advice on products to use as well for at home testing for parameters?
