I've been treating Ich with hyposalinity. I've had the salinty at 1.009 for 7 days. My LFS recommended that after 7 days of 1.009, I raise the salinty to 1.014 for the remaining treatment period. LFS said 1.014 is low enough to kill ich but easier on fish. Is there any truth to this?

Jerthhunter: Thanks for the reply. My tang is only 3" right now so I was hoping 50g would be OK for 6 months or so. Do you think it is too small right now even though she's only 3"?
