if somone does know a way of checking for a leak without filling the tank i would love to hear about it too

i have a 45 with a 18 inch snowflake eel, 6inch spotted panther grouper, a 3 inch maroon clown, and a 4 inch picasso trigger. is that too many fish. if not what would go good with these fish they have been in this tank for aprox 3 month tank has been set up for 6 month.
