The aquarium is 30 x 18 x 24. The params I will have to test tommorow. I know last week my PH was a touch low. Nitrates were a touch high. Everything else was Kosher.

I have a tank that has been established for a few years and I am now trying to make it a reef. The problem I am having is I have had button polyps which have been only partially opened or closed for over a year. I also have mushrooms which are always small(half opened) and sometimes get a hazy...

OB-Ron I guess I should clarify. It is a reef club/Coral Exchange I am trying to make. Have get togethers at the beaches from time to time. Show photos, talk shop, etc.

This is pitiful gang. no one in Tampa, St Petersburg, Clearwater, Bradenton, Sarasota, Venice, Nokomis, Fort Meyers, Lakewood Ranch, Gulf Coast Islands, Plant City,etc. wants to participate. i find that hard to believe!!!!!!

ok here is a Newb question. if you have mushrooms that are loose you can just put a bad of krazy gel on the bottom and stick them to the rock? This will not hurt the coral? How long do you have to hold it down? Nothing gets released into the water?
