If it is big enough you should be fine. They are pretty and their price has come down a lot.

It has grown a ton. It is probably twice the size it was when I got him less than a year ago as a blemish fish from DD.

That was my thought. It is bigger than any mcCoskers I’ve ever seen close to 3.5 in, longer than my adult flame angel.

that is a lot of messy fish for a small tank. The frog fish would do better in a tank by himself. Other than that keep in mind the lion can eat anything that will fit in its mouth and lions have big mouths.

No tangs in a 40 gal. You are still limited to small fish but you can have more.

mine too. Tanks been up and running for years and they’ve never caused a problem. Sometimes you will see what looks like spiderwebs. That is from them. They are trying to catch food with them.
