Glass...you couldn't give me an acrylic display tank. They scratch, and coralline loves plastic, making it look horrible in no time.

Hi, If your power head has those three little cups, the vibration is what is making it not stay put, I don't care how smooth, or new the suction cups are. Now the one with the one big suction cup, with a clip is much better, and that one has to have a good smooth surface to make sure it makes...

Hi, I don't think it was wise to use your tanks water, there is very little good bacteria in water...it's all on the surfaces. Sterilizing things didn't help because you killed the good bacteria you did have. Check the nitrates and phosphates, Both will feed nuisance algae. New tanks go...

Bio balls in a HOB??? You really don't need them. You have live rock, sand and many other surface areas with good bacteria. You are only going to have as much good bacteria as you have waste, no matter what, or how much surface area you have...so why make something else to have to clean up...
