First introduction accident! Damaged Red Firefish Goby :(

A healthy unstressed fish can regenerate part of a tail in only a day or two. It's going to be longer for a newly introduced fish due to the stress level. I'd say it will still be less than a week. The bent dorsal might take longer or it might heal bent. I'm not a fan, but if it heals up...

    New 46 gallon tank

One you have your water parameters stable and adequately low in nutrients (Nitrate, phosphate) you can start adding coral. Take it slow though and plan out your entire tank before starting to add. You can, of course, change you mind later but having a full plan will really help you out. Start...

    New 46 gallon tank

I'd suggest being happy with a pair of Clownfish and a couple/few Peppermint Shrimp. Enjoy that for 6 months or so and then add your next fish.

Star Polyp Coral VS Brittle Starfish

Two comments only based on my personal experience: 1 - Brittlestars, although omnivores, rarely, if ever, eat coral. They are mostly meat eaters but I've never heard of one eating coral. This applies to tropical brittl starfish only of course. 2 - Star Polyps regulary close up shop for a...

    10 Gallon

Yes you can add another Fire Shrimp. You need to make sure they are similar in size though. If one is much smaller then there's a chance it will be eaten by the larger one. 10 gallon tanks are really not large enough for any of the swimming fish. There are a few darting type fish that could...

    How effective are cleaner shrimp?

I think the Shrimp do remove some of the parasites and do make the fish feel a little better but as a cure they fall short.

collecting my own sand for FOWLR

I think it's fine if you are getting the sand from a healthy reef. I would not collect from shore. I do not know if it's legal so you might want to look that up for your area.

    Combing chemicals

If there is more than one fish in a tank then there can be aggression. I'm not saying that's the issue here but a bunch of fish in a small tank doesn't make it unlikely. Beth has been around a bit, she's been pretty good with identifying issues and how to resolve them.

    Two parter: Chemicals and skimmer

"Carbonate 14 (lowering slowly, was 22 two weeks ago at LFS.) PH 8.1 (Wants to settle at 8.0, using aquavirto balance to raise. LFS said it won't affect Kh but reading seems to say it won't raise calcium.)" It is true that Aquavirto Balance will not raise your Kh as it does not contain...

Is this everything I need for my filtration

Patience. Changes to the system should be gradual and well thought out. Do the research before you buy.

    Sandstorm

It will settle down. If it's not real live sand it could take a few days but it will happen once bacteria coats all of the sand grains.

fluval canister blows burst mirco bubbles

It could be a tiny leak as suggested above, but it could also be cavitation. This happens when intake cannot keep up with the speed of the impeller and vacuum bubbles are formed on the back of the blades. Thi is easy to test for. Restrict the output a little to see if the bubbles stop...

Yellow Coris Wrasse in 14 biocube?

Instead of a Wrasse there are quite a few Gobies or Blennies that would work well with he Clownfish. A couple Neon Gobies, a couple Clown Gobies, Barnacle Blenny, etc. Small docile fish that tend to just hang out. An Antenna Goby with a Tiger Pistol Shrimp is very entertaining and would work...

Filling my 120 Gallon Saltwater Aquarium,

I agree. While there is bacteria in the water, it's not much compared to the surfaces. There's no real reason to reuse old saltwater.

    Cinnamon Clownfish

Three Clownfish rarely works out. You will have a much better chance of success with two. Anemone are not a good idea for a new hobbyist in my opinion. Their needs seem simple but high water quality is not as easy to maintain as you would think. They are also light demanding.
