yep, there is a version that seems to split often instead of growing large. Stress can also make them split - such as being moved to a new tank...

I've Been Bitten by the Salt BUG

I would suggest you avoid the Powder Blue and the Trigger. The Powder Blue could work in the 90 but it will always be stressed and that's not an enjoyable experience. The Trigger will grow fairly large after a few years and start to fight for territory. All of your fish will be at risk at...

    My own newbie thread

One more comment - There's a list of animals that really should not be attempted by even experienced hobbyists. In my opinion the Long-Nose Butterfly is near the top of that list. While it is possible to be successful with this fish the usual outcome is a dead Butterfly and a frustrated hobbyist.

A cheap easy method of cleaning all the calcification and build up on My tank?

straight vinegar to start. Let each panel soak individually by laying the tank on it's side and then rotate the tank once you get a panel clean. Use a fresh batch of vinegar for each panel. Muriatic acid for the deposits that refuse to dissolve but be REALLY careful with that, outside...

Ich Issue, I have lost too many fish Please Help!!

This will not happen. What will happen is that the fish can continue to fend off the majority of the parasites as long as they are not stressed. One day something will stress a fish. That is when you will see a bloom in the parasites. Please heed Beth, she definitely know what she is talking...

Trying to be successful with lights

Is the red slime shrinking without the lighting on? If it's not shrinking it may be Dinoflagellates. That's a more difficult nut to crack. If it is shrimning the it's Cyano and I'm sure you've already tried just increasing the water flow to affected areas.

What kind of worm is this?

No. Sea Cucumbers are not directly harmful but many do contain toxins that can be harmful to fish if they are eaten or stressed. Fish typically leave them alone, even predators. I'm now I'm wondering it it's just an exceptionally long Peanut Worm. The more I look at it the more I think the...

What kind of worm is this?

Yes, odd looking worm. I don't think it's a polychaete nor a nemertean. I wonder if it's a relative of Sea Cucumbers.

    Supplementation for sharks

Your English is great, better than most :-) A couple comments, Skimmate (the product from a skimmer) has been shown to contain Iodine at only slightly higher than the saltwater it was skimming. This is from multiple tests on dozens of hobbies' systems. Ozone definitely deplete Iodine but...
