That is the reason I caution new hobbyists when they want to start a small tank. An experienced hobbyist such as yourself sees how difficult it is to put things in balance and keep them there it can be a daunting task for new comers to the hobby

Blue, violet, light are best for coral growth . These colors are essential for zooxanthellae. . White light is used over reef tanks, mainly for the aquarists' benefit - not the corals'.
while of course everyone is intitaled to how they run their own tank, I feel it is best if you can present a food source that the fish are genetically programed to look for
just a little old timers suggestion, for the butterfly's if you take a frozen cube of food and partially defrost it and push it into the pours of your LR they will love you for it
Darn that book looks heaver then the tea cup you use for your water changes. :D
Looks like some heavy calculations going on there also are you working on your coral to square inch of space ????
:D:D
I think you should wait on the ceiling mount. I had and have no issue with moisture. salt creep is predicated on how much agitation you have at the surface easily adjusted. I assume you are going with egg crate to protect against jumpers. That is going to defuses much of the splashing if you...
I put the number of cubes I am going to use in a cup add some liquid garlic let it soak until defrosted then add some tank water and disperse in front of a power head
