    55 gallon tank

That is way too many fish. And both a 55and 75 are too small for most. Like Jay said get a 75 not a 55. if you go 75, only one dwarf angel, either flame or coral beauty, none in a 55. one tang either yellow, tomini or Kole, and only if you go 75. Other types of tangs no Unless you have a 6...

The tank is beautiful. You are pretty much at capacity if not over with fish. Don’t add any more.

    First water test

It isn’t ready. It takes time for the decay to happen to get the cycle going.

    New to the saltwater aquarium

I’d go with either a 75 or a 90. Both are big enough to be able to keep stable. Smaller tanks are harder. A 55 is a difficult footprint to work with. 60s have sucky dimensions to work with and you will be limited in the type of fish because of that. A 75 and 90 ar both the same width as a 55...

    First water test

it takes about 6 weeks to finish cycling, yours hasn’t started. What else is in the tank. Do you have a source of ammonia, decaying food, dead shrimp, etc. during the cycle your ammon will go up, followed by nitrite then nitrate. they first need to go up then fall back to zero Before the...

Can't connect my pump to WiFi network

I’m sorry I really have no info on hardware other than the stuff I own. I’d try contacting the manufacturer. or the place you purchased it from’s customer service department.

    Wi-Fi water quality detector

Nope. Apex has an autotester for calcium, magnesium, and alkalinity. Crazy expensive. Seneye has something but I don’t really know anything about it.

    New 29g FOWLR tank

That filter would work. I, for the most part, use only live rock and a skimmer for filtration. I have a lot of live rock and a 120 gallon with a 40 gallon sump. The sump is just a place to put more live rock and my skimmer. I have macro algae in the sump as well.

Yellow Tang sick! No idea what he has!!

Ad it to the food and let it soak for a bit every time you feed them. Selcon is like a multi vitamin for fish.

Yellow Tang sick! No idea what he has!!

I agree HLLE possibly with a secondary infection. You might try getting some Selcon and soaking their food in it.

    Clam Death

Don’t do it. They are very delicate. Wait till your tank is much more mature.

    Clam Death

The shrimp didn’t kill it but probably helped clean it up.

    Clam Death

All I can say are cleaner clams don’t do much and can crash your tank when they die. Have no idea why it died. Don’t buy another.

    Which powerhead

I use 2 max spec 320 gyres on my 120. They provide plenty of flow. Prior to that I needed 4 standard pumps to get adequate flow. I have my gyres on the back of the tank, side by side. They aren’t as physically obtrusive as the power gears we so the tank looks much better.

    Sudden Copepods

pod populations will explode when there is enough to eat. They lay thousands of eggs and have few predators in a fishless tank. They are a good part of the clean up crew. their population will adjust to the level of food as your water quality improves and your tank matures. never add fish...

Pufferfish looking skinny with strange lump from gills?

Treat it with antibiotics. It sounds like it has been there a long time so you will likely need to treat for quite a while. If a couple courses of antibiotics doesn't work you will need to approach it as fungal which is much harder to fix. Either way, buy some Selcon and soak it’s food in...
