    Disclaimer: This is a general question I am not asking about my specific system, im just curious. Does whether the tank is a reef or FOWLR have any effect on how many fish or how many inches of fish can be in a system?

    On the damsels, the only damsel that most likely wont tear through almost everything in your tank is a starcki damsel, i have one his colors are vibrant and he is known to be one of the most peaceful damsels.

    A good salinity for fish only tanks is around 1.021-1.024, it does not need to be as high as reef tanks.

    I think this was already said but it is worth repeating, fish are more aggressive towards fish of a similar color and shape. So odds are you will see some aggression between the powders and the achilles, you would have better luck aggression wise with a purple/ yellow tang like jen said.
