What about lighting

I decided to hit the $1 per gallon ***** sale and picked up a 55 long this evening. I want to try a reef tank with this but nothing too fancy. What are some good suggestions for equipment to get started. Like to stay with hang on filter and skimmer for this if possible. As always thank you all...

Thats what I have read and heard before as well. I feed them both every day with tongs so wouldn't think they would be hungry. I took the condy out and just waiting to see what might happen to blue damsels left. Honestly won't hurt my feelings if they do get eaten just more curious now
