    Coral's won't open

The problem with a 6dKH or 7dKH Alkalinity level in a small reef is that it can drop below 5dKH in just a few days. In a reef of rapid growing corals it could even take less than a day. 5dKH is the start of where corals cannot build skeleton. If you can maintain 6dKH that's great but without...

That would have been a Cone Snail which are deadly, even to humans. Kevin's snail is not a Cone Snail.

    Coral's won't open

When corals suddenly look worse my first though it always a change in Alkalinity, either too low or too high. * - edit - OK I see that your Alkalinity is very low. Might want to fix that. Don't try to fix it in a single day though, raise it gradually.

does anyone know what kind of snail this is?

While I believe Nassarius are 100% carnivorous, I do not believe they are predators, at all. I think they only consume carrion. Marginella Snails, OTOH, are 100% predators.

You will prbably have to dose occationally if your corals re growing. For a 29 gallon a two part additive might be enough.

Need help for High Range PH, it is only 7.4-7.6

How much water circulation do you have? That are the Alkalinity, Calcium, Magnesium, Temperature, and Salinity? What time of day was the test taken? What are the PH ranges at other times of day? What type of filtration do you have?

    Trump tax plan

Right, but the effect was it lowered the funding of Social Security for a several years. My interpretation is that this defunding was the start of the Democrats dismantling Social Security. A successful start for sure.

    Back to basics- 29g adventure

Be very careful with limewater and ATO. Depending on the ATO setup, lime will precipitate and the point where the limewater meets the saltwater. If the limewater drips in without physical contact then it will still form a lime shell due to the CO2 in the air. I only mention because it not...

    Trump tax plan

I believe there's just shy of $3 trillion in assets for Social Security. Nearly all of it is held in "Government Securities". Government Securities is a polite way of saying IOUs.

    Trump tax plan

IIRC A few years before the withholding was increased, the withholding was decreased which shortened the longevity of Social Security. The increase was just putting the withholding back up to where it was.

What he is spending now is peanuts compared to the amount he would lose if he were POTUS for four years.

Questions about algae and suggestions for tank

The algae there is normal. If it's unpleasant to you just cover the sandbed on the outside of the tank. Eventually, if you have good live sand, some critter will exploit the algae for its nutrition and it will slowly go away.

    Starting a saltwater aquarium

Then a specific gravity of 1.026 @ 75F is a Salinity of about 36ppt. A bit on the high side but nothing to stress. The reason your salinity is high is because you're not replacing evaporated water. If possible replace evaporated water daily. Don't go more than a couple days or the salinity...
