    Feeding question

No issues except the tangs. Neither is compatible with the other and your tank is way too small for either even as singles. I’d feed Maybe 1/2 cube once a day. It should be food that has some vegetable matter because of the flame angel. Definitely a variety of foods.

    green algae?

I use a power head and aim it at the rocks. It resuspends the detritus that has settled in the cracks and crevices of the rocks. If you do that right before you do a water change you’ll get rid of a lot of what is feeding the algae. It will take quite a while for the algae to die off. You...

    green algae?

Pretty common. Even though your phosphate and nitrate levels are fairly low you have a phosphate and nitrate problem. The green hair algae is essentially consuming it and taking it out of the water. This makes for decent water quality and very healthy hair algae. The fix is slow. You need...

Flame Angel, Mandarin Goby, Mystery Wrass AND.....

Pellets are an iffy thing. Some eat them most won’t. They are constant feeders so they need more than one or two feedings a day. They need something the eat all day long.

Flame Angel, Mandarin Goby, Mystery Wrass AND.....

You can do a lot with a 150. Just wait on the mandarin until the tank is at least a year old. You need a large sustainable copopod population befor you add a mandarin.

    What's going on? Keyhole angel.

Have you been using prime? Prime will give a false positive ammonia reading unless you use the SeaChem test.

    Cyanobacteria

A fine, clear screening would be best but it also needs to be well attached to the tank to prevent escape. I’ve had a couple snowflake eels. Both ended up on the floor having snuck through very small openings. I’d love another I just don’t want to lose it so I don’t get one.

    210 Stocking suggestion

The fu manchu lion is my favorite. I hear they can be hard to get eating which has always kept me from getting one. Some day I will.

    210 Stocking suggestion

My concern would be the ultimate size of the volition and it’s corresponding mouth size. Lions will eat anything they can get into their mouth. Volitans get huge and so do their mouths. You might consider a dwarf lion. Just as beautiful but smaller mouth. Here’s a pic of a fuzzy dwarf

    Cyanobacteria

I’d ditch the lid. Maybe replace it with egg crate or a clear screening material. Lids hamper good gas exchange. Certainly remove it while you are using the Chemiclean. I’ve never added more flow when I’ve used it but I have a sump 8 feet below the tank so that allows for a lot of movement...

    What's going on? Keyhole angel.

Ammonia should be zero. Any detectable ammonia will burn fish’s gills.

GE silicon II with mold resistant

Try some prime. Ammonia is given off when silicone cures.

GE silicon II with mold resistant

The fact that it is mold resistant makes me think it isn’t aquarium safe. I stick with silicone that specifically says aquarium safe. What is the part # for the product should be in the format of GE####

Did my serpent star eat my fairy wrasse?

It very well may have. I had one that took my small tomini tang. I saw it grab the fish and retreat into the rocks.
