I plan an 8 foot tank in about 18 months so wanted heads I can use on it later. So bought 2 jabao pp20 WaveMaker heads. No way I can use both. Crazy strong...

    fish compatible

Good water quality and water flow. You won't have algae I use a phosphate reactor and a good skimmer. I have 2 snails in a 90 gallon and next to nothing algae except the thin stuff I clean off the glass with the magnet cleaner. Just takes time for a mature tank to keep it away

    Conservative cycling

All comes down to patience. Time and more time. I have cycled alot of tanks . Takes 6 to 8 weeks. If you are in a big hurry this isn't your sport. I have never done a water change during or a month after the cycle did itsome thing

What kind of clowns are they? Percs don't act like normal fish . I have 2 and they don't swim straight. They go up and down side to side weird. Had them for 30 yrs and all of them are like this. Never once seen one swim a straight line

    Powerhead too strong?

Just note this. You are not going to make as much turbulence as the ocean. I would add another head pointed at each other .

    Suggested water change frequency

If I had a fish only tank and a skimmer I would next to never do a water change. My reef needs replenished food from the changes. After I do a water change my corals blow up.

    Suggested water change frequency
