Apparently I am doing something right because my new acros haven't melted yet.

My Acropora SPS frags were alive this morning when I left the house. No flesh peeling. So that means I might be clear of STN. Tested my levels this morning and the new frags sucked out 20ppm calcium overnight. Made up for it this morning. I'm keeping my eye out for any montipora and any...

Be sure to wash off your pliers with RO water after using. Don't want the salt to corrode it.

I use needle nose pliers at the very base of the frag, next to the plug, the part that will be covered with epoxy anyways.

I'm almost finished with the 16ft anaconda articulation. Just finished the skull. Gotta glue it, wire it and paint it some more.

So I went to the fish store today. Probably not the smartest thing to do. I picked up for new acro frags. Yeah, acropora. But,... If they live then I am doing something right. If they don't, then they were cheap and were worth the risk. I've never worried about a tank so much in my life...

I just got the results from my water tests. Calcium 420mg/l Alkalinity 8dKH Nitrate: 0mg/L Phosphate: .25 Salinity: 1.024 Temp:77*F I changed the intensity on my lights to be more blue. I also took a tooth brush and brushed the coralline algae on some of the plastic to try to release...

I still have the tank. It's still going and doing well. I'm going to take some time to run the tests on it this afternoon and adjust the calcium and alkalinity as necessary. I'm going to try to find a way to keep the tank going if possible. I don't really want to give it up, even if it means...

Well, that deal fell through. Looks like no one has any money for hobbies anymore. Lol. I'll keep my listing up for a while but if no one buys it, I'll just let it keep running.

This doesn't mean though that I won't be on here every now and then to talk and catch up. Also, I have already gotten a good bite on the price I offered, so it probably won't be long until its sold.

Well, ladies and gentlemen,... I just reviewed my finances and concluded that I probably shouldn't have a tank right now. My wife and I are hunkering down on paying debt, and that's already difficult with a newborn. Therefore, I'm selling the tank and equipment to pay debt and to not be...

    divorce

I had a female long hair chihuahua that would have eaten anyone that wasn't her momma alive if it weren't for me spanking her and asserting myself as "pack leader." All dogs, regardless of size, need to be obedient. I still vote for a separation tonsee where it leads to.

I was mixing my saltwater up the last couple of times really well by shaking the gallon jug and agitating it, and then slowly pouring it into a clean bucket from a height to aerate it well enough before pouring it into the tank. Well, in the mixing container, I noticed a residue and what looked...

Lol!!!!!! I'm trying it out for a period of time. It's mainly because I missed my last ten gallon water change on the first of the month and its almost been two months without. I think it would work either way. The thing though is that frequent small water changes still aren't making up...

This morning I mixed up another gallon of water for another water change. Doing a gallon at a time I believe is really going to make a big difference. I'm ready to go home and see how everything is doing already. Lol.
