    Last nights' Presidential Debates

I watched most of it but not all of it. I was just curious who you think sounded like the best candidate and why? Trump sounded like a hot head and the rest of the Republicans just threw insults at other candidates whenever possible,.... Last night was more like a reality show than a debate...

    Trump tax plan

Thoughts on the elimination of payroll taxes in favor of the 1-5-10-15 federal tax? More money in your pocket means more money to inveat, save and spend.... How does that affect social security?

Smaller place, bigger tank...My 200DD build

Looking good man. I'm jealous of those colonies. The vortechs don't look bad at all! Most people who do professional pics of their tanks always pull out excess equipment during the shoot anyways, so I wouldn't worry about that as far as that goes. It's whatever benefits the tank best. You...

    Back to basics- 29g adventure

Blue ridge is a brown coral. Lol. It never will color up, ever. That's its natural color. Lol. The hydenophora is supposed to be a pretty green but its a green brown mix right now. It's recovering from being at the LFS right now. I hope it will go back to the color that I see in some pictures...

That's right. This BR is brown. It had been growing in the LFS tank for over 15 years. I was lucky to get a frag of it, let alone two. Everything is going well so far. The hydenophora still has its flesh. I'm just going to play it by ear for a few weeks and just see if it works out. Maybe next...

Naa. That's a hydenophora on top and of course, a green candy on bottom. The blue ridge is just brown, so I didn't post a pic.

I would really like a pink birdsnest and some other common montipora digitata. Maybe in a few weeks if that hydenophora pulls out of it and does well, I may put in an order online. In the mean time, I'll save up some money.

    Back to basics- 29g adventure

So I went to the fish store today and got a few things. Mainly ten gallons of saltwater. I did a water change when I got home this morning. The animals within look like they are recovering well. The SG at the store is 1.022, and I decided to just go ahead and do a water change and let it sort...

Skimmerless. And since tomorrow is the first, I'm getting set up for a ten gallon water change. Getting ready to get some more montipora digitata soon. Maybe a few other things. Not exactly sure just yet.

I always tried my best to become a mod. I gave up on the idea and pretty much have left this forum. I stick around here and there but there are better opportunities out there.

    Ghost Town

I don't know if it is so much of a spam problem. A lot of people on other forums say they will never order from SWF ever again because of the horrible customer service, which also translates into less traffic in the forum. There just isn't enough interest in this forum, and since it is attached...

My skimmer kinda crapped out on me. I'm going skimmerless and going to do a once a month water change. Less equipment in the tank = good thing.

Not really. Looks like I might have to start doing some small water changes. My nepthea constantly shrinks and expands. Nothing to really report on at the moment. The coralline is growing well, the filter pads are holding up. I just added carbon to the system again. My montipora is growing...

    The way back machine

I used 70w 18k metal halides that were meant for dusk/dawn lights. I modified them. Lol. Slate bottoms, excuse me. Lol I remember back in the day when some people messed around a lot with FSB filtrrs and DE filters.

    Need HeLp!!

It will shrink up from time to time. Bang is right, a little extra water flow and it will slough off a waxy coating soon enough.
