    New to Saltwater

I don't have a sump, I use hob. If I did it over again, I would buy a predrilled tank and use a sump. Imforbis has a sump and you can see how there is no "clutter" in her tank. Heater, filter, ect is in the sump

Imforbis is spot on. Only bc I happen to be on here I'll comment. You don't need a sump or skimmer. With a hob filter no sump is needed. A skimmer is nice but not required for a fowlr tank. All that said, a sump is the most effective way to go. However you do want a drilled tank. Siphon is an...

Would love input on this set up

    New tank help

If you had ammonia to start then my guess is over feeding . That said at 4 months your tank is very new. That's alot of fish to add to a new tank. Wait atleast another 2-3 months. How much live rock do you have? Your current fish are tough as hell so even in sup par water they can live. New...

    Beginner here and completely lost.

Welcome to sw. Now run away!!!! Lol jk. Do lots of research. A couple of good books are worth their weight in gold. Sw while more complex then fw is far easier then it use to be. A 55 is fine however its "foot" print is not ideal. A 75 would suit you better. Mixing your own sw will be the best...
