    The yellow coris wrasse requires at least a 50 gallon tank according to a very reputable site. Also like she said, with a 14 gallon tank you're about fully stocked with even your single clown.

    There are things that you can use, but I wouldn't. I used a bunch of purple up and it sent my calcium and alkalinity through the roof. Thanks lfs guy.

    So no live rock? When you add the live rock it is possible your tank could have a mini cycle. This could raise your ammonia quite a bit, hopefully your clown can make it. They are hardy but still, 2 weeks is just not enough time. Did your ammonia ever spike? It's possible the cycle hasn't...

    I would wait to establish some algae growth on the rock before adding the angel. They like to graze and can be picky.
