    Orange Monti White spots problem

Could you post your water parameters? Calcium, alkalinity, magnesium salinity, pH,... Check for montipora eating flat worms. Most of the time, however, when montiporas do that, either there are alkalinity swings or detritus built up on them from lack of flow. What lighting system are you using?

I guess your right. I should probably treat the tank before adding in any corals.

Only found two flat worms after carefully scrutinizing the tank. Siphoned them out. Going to wait a week and decide if buying flat worm exit is going to be worth it. Opinions? I am loving the new cheap Chinese led light that I purchased. Its pretty and just the right size. So far I am only...

Eric, it really depends on what my calcium and alkalinity levels are right now. I might start after I add some montipora or something. Imforbis, it really depends on the species. I'm not an ID expert when it comes to flatworms, but they are mostly a nuisance. Some flat worms eat certain corals...

Mixing up ten gallons of water for a water change tomorrow. I'm going to try to siphon out as many flat worms as I can tomorrow and treat the tank with flatworm exit next week if I see any more flatworms. Looking at my tank right now with the new light on it. I really like it. The equipment...

Flat worm exit, follow the directions. Lol. Its a $20 cure, and is reef safe. I'll have to fix my light this week and get the flat worm exit the next. My budget is pretty tight right now.

I bought a shelf thing and tried these super heavy duty dry wall hangers and they ended up pulling out of the wall way too easily. I am going back to the store to pick up some actual dry wall toggles tomorrow after work. I liked the color and intensity of the new light though while I had it over it.

Sounds like a plan. I need to add a heater to my tank to keep the temp better regulated. I think having just an invertebrate tank will be pretty cool. Never done just inverts before in a personal tank. Having a ton of amphipods and mysids and skunk cleaners all living together will be pretty...

    Back to basics- 29g adventure

I bought a galaxy hydrogrow from Amazon. Its a 165w full spectrum LED light. I like it. I'm going to have to figure out how to hang it. I might stop by the hardware store before I head on home. We will have to see. I really like the color. I'm going to have to play around with them a little bit...

I'll stay away from them. I'm doing my research before buying.

    Opinion Needed

A cheap Chinese LED fixture from eBay or Amazon that is 165w full spectrum and manually dimmable will be a great buy. Stop impulse buying.

Well, things are going good. I got a new android phone. Getting used to it. It takes better pictures than my old phone too. Soon as I figure out my photo bucket password, I'll post some new pictures. Built a deck for the new house. Exhausting weekend.

    Whole house water filter?

Thanks man. As it looks now, my tap water is clear! In fact, it's been 250ppm TDS less than the other house I was at.
