So Bryce, what would be a hardy coral as I don't have the cash to splurge on any additional lighting?

Appreciate the advice. How long could I go without a skimmer? I don't plan on putting that many corals in..maybe 2 or 3 and hoping to keep them under control. Well it's just a surface skimmer...not a protein skimmer. Is there that much of a difference?

Thanks for that. I guess the other question on top of this is will my light be sufficient for coral?
