@john- Yes it is a CBS and thank you much for the advice..I have some cooked salad shrimp left over in the freezer(very small ones) wondering if that would be ok to feed. I know it wont have as many nutrients as raw shrimp but would you see any harm in him eating that?

i guess i should do a bit more research. My damn boxer shrimp wont leave my duncans alone after spot feeding or my anome!!..I may have to re think my strategy when it comes to feeding lol..i usally put in the mysis for the fish and then do the spot feeding..I may have to get rid of the shrimp...

i just got the reefmaster test kit in today and thought i would post my readings.. my phosphate got a color chart reading of very light green or faint green wich reads .25 My cal reading was 460 and alk reads 7dkh. This is day 4 of a weekly water change.

Thanks for the imput guys. I do 5 gallon weekly water changes at the moment and the salt is mixed at the LFS. The salt mix i use is called "Salinity" and i always prefer the same guy at the LFS mixing the salt as ive grown to trust him.

Havnt been able to test alk yet but i did get a 390 on calcium at the lfs if that helps any? tank consists of branching coral, duncan coral, frogspawn, gsp, pulsing xenia...wil chemi-pure help with calcium and alk or should i get something to dose or wait for my filter mod?
