I have the same problem, what can i do to replace the small plastic knob that hangs above water to create air into the skimmer. Mine is broken and does not allow me to control the air volume being sucked in.

I built a 230 acrylic which had some fine scratches on it a found that a very, very, rubbing/buffing compound seemed to take out some of the scratches on the outside of the aquarium. Be careful using this on the inside scratches, it will need to be cleaned very well before adding water back...
