I use New Life Spectrum pellets. I've heard great things about this pellet and have been feeding this to all my fish for a while. My emperor angel goes crazy for it and is extremely fat and healthy.

I've had my hippo since he was the size of a dime. He's about 3" but now has HLLE and it's getting worse. I've heard that hippos are susceptible to HLLE.
