Hi old and new buddies. I consider us "new" in the hobby now that we've been out of the hobby for about 4 years. We moved to Colorado and couldn't take our tanks with us, so they went into storage, most equipment was kept and all livestock I donated to different hobbyists. We're getting back...

We got out of the hobby in 2012 due to move to Colorado and we couldn't take our tanks with us. We are now back in NC and are getting back into the hobby. The 150 is still in storage and will remain there; we're going with a different setup for our new tank and eventually will make a large tank...

Coming back to hobby!

I agree with the noise. I've got a 40W in our 75g tank and it's right behind me in the livingroom and it's louder than our 3 Tunze 6101's together. I have the Vortech 20 in my nano and it's pretty noisy too.
