I built a LED fixture for my 14 BC and could not be happier. Only time will tell how the SPS will react to the light. The Nanotuners retro kit is nice but they told me for high output to go with the Cree LED.

Placing a shrimp in the tank for a little while will create the ammonia spike you need to get the cycle rolling. You can really use anything, a piece of fish, fish food.

I had a custom acrylic tank made a while back I am now living in a very warm climate and also don't have room to set it back up. Will it hurt the tank to store it in the attic. Thanks

This is my old tank. I was running on 6 T5 24 watt. Small tank but the corals did well and had decent color.

I also hung a Remora on my sump. The sump was to shallow, so I put block under the sump to raise it. Also depending on the water level in your sump you may need to add a little length to the tubing that holds the pump to the injector nozzle.

I was given a Racoon before I started adding corals and he picked at every thing I added. Needless to say he was traded. I also had the same problem with an Ebeli (sp?) Angel.
