I am getting back in to the hobby after a few years off and a move... I got a great deal on a 150 reef and need to start the move in a couple of days. just trying to think of the "best" way to get good clean water.

thats for the initial setup... I thought about that however I will have LR with some corals on it that need to go in ASAP...(shrooms and other easy corals) thats why I like the idea of the faster carbon filter... I did use one in the past a few years ago and to my knowlage it worked just...

hello, do any of you reefers use an nsa water filter? I need to make 150+ gal of salt h2o and was thinking about them. as they filter water faster than a ro/di unit. LFS charges 50cents a gallon for ro/di that will ad up pretty fast. I am getting back in to the hobby after a few years break...

thanks I was kinda hoping that i could "get away" with out doing it but it makes more since to do it right from the get go... so you just razor = remove half the silicone form one side.... does that mean let say i have the tank up right remove the bottem back silicon... then apply new silicon...

So I am thinking about getting this tank a glass 6 foot 180gal. It’s holding h20 just fine but it was recommended that I reseal it. I have never done this before is it a easy D.I.Y project? And if it not leaking why mess with it? What is the best product to reseal it with? Thoughts feedback...

hello. I have a nice kent skimmer for sale. the nautilus TE is a great skimmer rated for aquariums from 100-300 gal. I was useing this on my 240 reef for about 8 months It did a good job pulling a cup of tea like skimmate each day. comes with a mag 7 PH. stands 23" high I am missing the air...

if fishtix don't get it put me down for 2nd in line :) do you think it would fit on the 72 bow front? send pics info to devaji108@yahoo.com

WOW!! your camera is so SOOOO much better than mine.. DAM makes we wish i would of had a better camera when this tank was up and running...just think of all the cool pics I could have gotten. man it is SO sad to see this tank is such a mess. you even got a full tank shoot.....ok it deff time...

this is a full tank shoot down the side.. I can't get a full tank photo with a 8 foot 240...with out a wide angle camera. any way enjoy the second one is the best I have of the full view.:)
