    Keeping the noise down

+1 on the dynamat. The specific purpose of dynamat is to reduce noise, but there are other options that could be cheaper. For example take a look at everything under the tank. 1. The back is wide open facing the wall. Noise will hit against the wall then bounce out towards the room. This is...

    Need a posative ID please

Just to be safe. If it was/is aptapsia then I don't need to add anymore to my battle. You know how it is. As well, I'm not sure I can care for the little guy properly. I know little to nothing about anemones

Marine epoxy stick bought from walmart

Being a bondo product, it may contain fiberglass resin. As well it's used to adhere to plastic, metal and fiberglass, so I wouldn't use it based on that alone

    What kind?

What size tank do you have? For reef systems the better lighting set-ups vary between PC (Power Compact), MH(Metal Halide), and T5/T5HO. Everyone has different opinions on their lighting, so I'll chime in and say go with some nice T5HO's or mix it up with a MH pendant joined with T5's.

Can people use my pictures without asking? comments pls!

In all actuality if an image isn't copywritten or anything of that matter, then it is in fact open season for anyone to use as they wish. As far as [hr] sites, it doesn't have to be the image of the actual product, but an image that represents the type of product they are selling. In fact...

    HELP!!! CORALS Dead.

You might want to post your exact water test results. Saying they look good or that your LFS says they are fine doesn't mean everything is all that fine.

    Dental Stone

Dori, The dental stone & plaster we use isn't very good because it'll break down in water no matter how hard it is/gets. (I work in a lab) You could try the yellow stone, but mix it extremely dry so it's at the hardest stage it can get. No, not the way you mix to pour a model, make it much MUCH...

    backgrounds?

Go to a walmart or a local auto parts store and you can find the static cling window tint. 1 roll should do fine, but the more layers you put on top of each other the darker it'll get. Yes, I got extremely bored one day and had a roll laying around the house..lol I wanted a rear view of the...

Any good LFS in North miami/ft lauderdale

Pet's unlimited isn't really all that great. The dry-good side is so-so they do offer some nice stuff and I bought my skimmer there, but it's not an exclusive LFS. It's more of a chain of stores, because there is one on US1 in Pompano just North of 64th street. (between Atlantic & McNabb) Nova...

Any good LFS in North miami/ft lauderdale

Barrier Reef went downhill on their livestock as of late. The staff isn't as knowledgable as they used to be. They have more to offer in the aspect of dry goods lately for they are slowly taking up the whole corner of the building. If you get there on a sale day, it's worth the trip for the dry...

    Minimum size tank?

depends on the type of trigger. For example a Clown Trigger min is 125gal. whereas a Picasso Trigger min is 75gal. I'd have nothing less than a 125 for any of them though. A 300gal. would definately do it for any trigger.
