Hey i have a emperor 400 that came with the 60g i bought. The pumps intank is just about touching the bottem of then tank what will happen when i add sand? Should i avoid that area? IM going with fine grain sand at the bottem so lemmi know what you think. thanks -matt

i plan to start off fish only untill i can afford the lighting set up for coral, i dont want to crowd my tank with rock so i want a sand botten so it doesnt look stupid with all the gaps i was planning on using Indo-Pacific Black sand which looks real nice its black and white
