I love this Meyer's angle I will buy one after My 165G is six months old.

I use hardware store lighting fixtures on my freshwater to grow plants and they work fine!

I have had a Flame for six weeks now and all he does is graze on the live rock, form my reading on this fish put some live rock in his tank, and i would say 30G and up would be fine!

If your tank is only a 12G i would sell it, and start over when you come back if its bigger and worth alot of money hire a pro to take care of it, or else you whole system will be dead after a month.

If your gonna spaend alot of money on a 150G tank stand ext.... don't skimp on the skimmer, get a berlin turbo or something simmlar. Seaclones are OK for small mid size tanks, but not worth it for larger tanks.

what kind of ballist do you have? If it is an Icecap 660 add a third 50/50 bulb then add a forth atintic, and you'll have 440Watts thats light! It just depends how many bulbs your ballist can drive.

Thats 2,400 gallons and hour, i would say the smallest tank that pump would work on is a 240G and larger is better. If you hook that pump to a 55 there will be 55Gallons of water on the floor.
