I currently have an established fish only 150g with crushed coral substrate. I am thinking of changing the substrate to sand. Any special considerations here? Thanks in advance.

We have a porcupine puffer that has two large lumps in his lower stomach. He eats well and swims around. He acts like there is nothing wrong, but the lumps are quite large. Has anyone heard of that before? Thanks
