How high up does the water need to travel? But I think your best bet is a Velocity T4, or a Dolphin Aqua Sea. -Mark

    Foxface not doin good

Well, thanks for the help, but it's 'water under the bridge', the foxface died at about 5:45. It might have been me, or it could have been ich, or someother disease. So, what I did was I put it into a zip-lock bag and put it into the freezer, so whenever i get up the nerve I'll want to disect it...

    Foxface not doin good

I've done a few freshwater dips, and he seems to be improving. I've put him into some ro freshwater for about 20 seconds 5 times, after each time, I put the foxface into the main tank for like 10 minutes. Am I doin everything right? -Mark

Also, she's "breathing" heavily, and it looks like she has some white spots on her, but I can't tell if it's sand or ich.

    Foxface not doin good

Hey, I just got home from rehearsals, and I noticed my foxface lo to be lying down on the sand, and occassionally flipping over, she is alot darker than normal, i put some algae in to hopefully stimulate her to eat. If any1 knows what the problem is, tell me, in the mean time, I'm gonna get a...

    Clarification needed

Wouldn't someone think it would be better to have a higher turn over in a fo than a reef? Because the fish use O2 and exhale CO2 more so than a coral. Think of it like this, sit in a chair and hold your breath and time it (roughly doesn't have to be exact), and see how long you can go. Then...

    lionfish with swollen abdomen

Well, it sounds like you need to not feed the lion fish so much. The best advice is to not feed your lion for a few days (3-4), and then you will see the lion's stomach is back to normal. Also, a few questions 1) What size tank is he in? 2) What are you feeding him? 3) How often are you feeding...

    350

Besides groupers, well: Lionfish, Large Wrasse, large eels, big angelfish probably won't get eaten, but the water quality could cause a problem. So almost any large, hardy fish that can is somewhat aggressive (execpt for triggers and files) and fish that have aggressive spines could survive...

Is the LR from SWF.com cured???

No lr is 100% completely cured until it's been in your tank for a few months. So it is better to be safe than sorry as Adrian said. And is your tank established or is it in the process of cycling? -Mark

    Black Ribbon Eel

Well, if you see it eat first hand, I would say get it, but if people just say "Oh yeah, this guy eats great" ask to see it. Ribbon eels are very very hard to keep alive, they just don't eat in captivity. They are very hardy fish, but they usally end up starving to death. They also are escape...

I really want a clam, would it be OK

Try getting a smaller, cheaper clam, before you go and spend $160 bucks on one. If it would unfortunately die (which I don't think it would, your lighting sounds pretty good) anyone would prefer $30 clam to a $160 clam. What corals do you currently have in the tank? And how well are they doin...

A shark q for risk, that only he will know....

That family of Squalformes is kinda odd, in the sense that it has the smallest sharks (Spined Pygmy, green lantern), but also some of the largest (Pacific, and Greenland Sleepers). I heard that they are luminousent. But that's were the similarities stop about luminousence. One resource says they...
