He He, Any Idea how I can keep a Beagle from digging into anything that remotely might smell like something to eat? My lab cross is great, I could leave a plate of food on the coffee table and he wouldn't touch it but the Beagle tried to drag stuff off the counters and don't even think about...

Something is growning in my tank and I dont know if its good or bad. PICS included!

Looks to me like aiptasia. (Glass anemone) squirt some boiling water into the center disc and watch them melt almost instantly. Don't squish it or try to scrape it off or it will spread.

    Pitbulls... Let's have the debate.

If anyone is considering buying a dog. Any kind of dog. Find a proper trainer in your local area and at least go through an obedience class or two. It only costs about thirty to forty a session and I promise that you will not regret it.

Ok. I have worked as a trainer in the past and there is no dog that is more unflinchingly loyal and obedient (if trained properly) than a bully breed. I loved every one I've ever seen. Including the mean ones. (It's not their fault). The sad part is that because of their owners improper...

    Clown hosting

Getting a clown to host a Condy is probably not a good idea. in some cases I've heard of them consuming a clown. And in other cases the exact opposite. Judgement call. But my lfs puts their clowns in with condys in the same tank.

Just got an anemone. Need advice

I just went to my lfs (which is an hr and a half drive) and purchased a condylactis anemone. It's somewhere around six inches in length total including the base. I could use some advice as to general care and upkeep. I have fed it once using raw table shrimp. Is there anything else I am missing?

Yea. I've been using batting for years in my freshwater tanks. Not sure about marine usage but hey, never hurts to try.

    very odd

Ok here is my two cents. It sounds to me like an algae bloom as well. When I first set up my tank (not knowing the consequences) filled my tank with tap water and conditioner. After running my lights for a few days I noticed brown stuff that I later found to be algae that lives off certain...
