    That seems to me to be a lot of fish that are relatively large in too small of an aquarium. IMO having three angels alone in this aquarium would be irresponsible.

    IMHO why not just buy for $20 some synthetic seacrystals and not take even more time trying to find "safe" or "clean" water. When it comes down to it, I live in WI so haha it would take me a while to find just the ocean itself.

    cleaning new tank

    On that thought I would clean the tank thoroughly with a deluted bleach solution to kill off anything harmful that could be in it. Make sure to rinse out all of the bleach afterwards so you don't introduce anything harmful to your new tank as well.

    I've experienced the same thing this past year. When you say to clean it out completely, are you suggesting that I turn it off and clean its chambers and intake or just the collection cup?

    Feedback anybody? A few models I have been looking at are: 48” SunPod 2x150W HQI Fixture by Current USA, 48" Deluxe 4 x 110W Fluorescent VHO Fixture by Hamilton Technology, and NOVA Extreme 48" T-5 Fixture 8 x 54W by Current USA.
