Does swf ever get passers? I never see them listed on the main page

i have a flag fin and powder blue in a 90 gallon tank, they have been together for almost 3 years, i have some old pictures on this site somewhere.

i have a white face and lavartus butterfly, they didnt eat at first also, live fresh muscle still in the shell, crack it open and rinse and drop it in the bottom of the tank, it will work, i can almost gurantee it.

i used to feed mine a mixtire of mysis,forumla 1-2 and angela formula. every now and then i would use frozen and live brine as a treat.

I have always used use damsels and live rock to cycle tanks, 3 yellow tangs, might not be wise though, in a newly established tank.

you might be talking about chyruys angel, i herd themc alled ear something like that before, they are kind of blue/black, with white lines, with a bright lines on there face, they are awesome looking, pretty rare my LFS gets them somehow though abuot once everyn other moneth they are 500 a pop...

I have had many years of success in the hobby, if someone wants to put a damsel in there tank to cycle it , then fine the fish will live its not that big of a deal. Its no more inhumane then taking something like a ornate butterfly, or a regal angel, or a bat fish, or any other almost impossible...

I would rather have a colorful hardy damsel swimming around in a tank for 1-2 months then nothing. Its all matter of oppinion i guess. I feel if i buy a damsel from a store like *****, The fish has a better chance of surival with me, then in a store like *****.

yea i would wait a while before a buttefly, i dont know if i would put in a tank with a trigger though, I have butterflies now with tangs, and everyone gets along great.

I dont think that is true all the time. I usually always use a damsel or clown,I think i only lost one fish ever to cycling the tank. I mean if people put tangs in there to cycle then yea, But i always use clowns or damsels because they are hardy and i like to keep them. I still have my 2...

if you add both tangs at the same time i dont think it should be a problem, i had 3 tangs in a big tank a few yrs ago doing great before power outterage during a storm killed them all. I think you could easily do 2 tangs and the humma humma as fas as the puffer goes, i dont really want to give...
