atleast you wont have to clean the lid like every time you see your tank ..... i dont think there is anything better than taking off your lid... i mean if it were a jumping problem then you could get some egg crate but that doesnt stop the evaporation problem

yes your suppose to scrape one side because if you scrape both then your algae has to grow again and until it grows back the filter will be useless......how big is your tank ... that sheet looks kinda small i have a bigger one on my scrubber als i sanded the crap out of it so that the algae...
