I have a chocolate chip star fish and a sand sifting star in with my pork puffer and goldtail moray and they do a good job cleaning the sand. :happy:

Is there an Albertson's grocery store near you? I get a bag of seafood medly out of the frozen food section. Costs about 5 or 6 bucks and lasts a long time. Has octopus, squid, scallops and a lot of other stuff in it. My eels and puffer really like it and it gives them a good variety. Great for...

I got 10 on the puffer. I went out this weekend and got a few crabs for my puffer to snack on.. What a savage!!! He was tearing them up before they hit the bottom. :eek:

You could always get another Tessy to go with him. or maybe a green moray. The LFS up here has a tessy in with 2 black tip reef sharks. He still acts like he owns the place. :sleepy:

That would be nice. I live up by seattle. Usually raining but last week it reached into the 90's. Locals were scared didn't know what that big orange thing in the sky was. I don't think the heater knew what to do either.

I know what you mean about the triggers being predatory.. I watch 3 triggers tear apart a 12" lionfish at the LFS one time. they weren't just picking on him. they were tearing him up relentlessly. :eek:

Thanks.. I guess you are right to start thinking about the room i have now to populate. My little fimbrated moray ate this morning so i think he is going to be ok.. Anybody have suggestions for new tank mates for him?? Empty 125 gallon tank to fill. Lots of rockwork.

I came home from work tonight to find my goldflake moray and full size koran angel dead :mad: . I went to stick my hand in the water and pulled it out right away.. The heater in my sump had gone nuts. the temperature in the tank was 96 degrees!!!! I replaced the heater and I finally got it...

How much would that eel cost if you got it from a LFS?
