I need new lights for my 55 gallon reef tank and am considering getting the new marineland LED's. Are they worth the $400 or is there a better way to go? If someone has them now how do you like them?

Thanks ya'll.My LFS said a yellow tang would be ok in my 20g tank as i wasnt to sure...but i took his word for it. I plan on taking the tang out. I have 130w compact lighting that i picked up on ---- for about $60.

I have a 20 gallon high tank will 25lbs of live rock in it and compact lighting of 130watts.I was wondering if i needed a protein skimmer for my tank in order to have corals or can i have corals without the skimmer.And if i need one any1 know a good one and where i can get it,thanks.

I just started a 20 gallon high reef tank. Im putting jebo lights on it that equal 130w with an emperor 280 filter. I also have 20lbs of live rock bali and fiji with 5lbs of base rock. Will that be good enough equiptment for my reef or should i throw a small powerhead in there? Any opinions...

Im lookin to buy lights to support a reef in my 20g tank. i was wondering if 130w will be enough to support soft corals. it comes with 1x65w-12000k daylight pc bulb and 1x65w true actinic pc bulb.
