I doubt the mods are going to let anyone answer this question unless someone ordered the light from saltwaterfish.com. The prices have really came down on them since I ordered mine a year ago. I just googled "current sunpod" and the top two choices had some really good prices.

Why is it that there are hardly any light fixtures that come in 30"? 20L and 29 are pretty common tanks, you'd think there would be a better selection. It's just something that's always made me mad because it seems like I've always had 30" tanks. That being said, get a 30" 150W Current Sunpod...

I'd say no on the dual CPR, unless you really enjoy loud skimmers. For a 75 gal, you should probably try the Remora with the mag 3.

I don't have an outer orbit, but I have the orbit PC fixture and a sunpod MH fixture also made by Current. I have had no problems with either and definitely recommend fixtures by Current. I've had the orbit for 2 years and the sunpod for a year.

The Deltec MCE600 is the quietest HOB skimmer. Not sure about the new MCE300 but it's pretty much the same design so it's probably pretty quiet too. My MCE600 only has a faint hum to it. The noise level and the fact that the pump is located in the skimmer itself and not hanging in the tank...

yeah the deltecs are way expensive...I think $1800 is their cheapest one. Deltec's cheapest skimmer is actually $279 for the MCE300. They have 6 different skimmers for under $900. But yes, they are generally pretty high. Their highest priced skimmer is $16,969.00! Can you freakin' imagine...

I'm pretty happy with it. You can make your tank look full with less rock. It gives my tank really good flow. The powerhead that I have pointed along the back of the tank and under the rocks eliminates deadspots.
