    Yes, it could be a reef tank. But that tank would be great for saltwater fish too. If you've decided in doing so, I suggest learning more about saltwater fish care and maintenance. I'm a hobbyist but I'm still researching online on the do's and dont's. And so I found this good article here...

    Tank Set up (beach sand)

    I agree, beach sand should never be used in an aquarium. It may be contaminated by seawater or might be filled with many harmful compounds.

    Hi. You can try Dogfaced pufferfish or Foxface rabbitfish. Or try other fish that would not be threatened by their aggression.

    Blue tangs will hide in rocks when they're new to the tank. They do this a lot when there young. They are very shy or when they come down with ich and velvet. Sometimes they tend to hide when they're stressed or nervous
