Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought about the only things you could keep under 3 watts per gallon are mushrooms, low light zoos, and non photo corals. If I'm reading the original post correct, I wouldn't think you could keep frogspawn in this tank.

Nope. You need at least 4-5 watts per gallon for LPS.

For those of you who do not scrape the back of your tanks, do you notice a reduction of nitrates in your tank? I have been scraping mine for the past 2 years, but now I wonder if I would benefit from just letting it cover the back glass.

Queen Conch. It does a wonderful job on everything from the glass, to the sand, and the rock work. It's one of the best investments I've made in inverts.

I think your 6 degree swing in temp is a big problem.

I have chaeto, 12 lbs of LR, and 2" of Miracle Mud. I use to have a couple of filter clams, but they died.
