Not sure if this helps, but both of my clowns turn greyish about 30 mins before the lights go out. Or sometimes during a water change. They always go back to normal color by morning. Behavior is always the same (good).

Just so I am sure of what my shrimp should or should not be doing. Is it normal for them to "seek out" fish? Or should the fish go to them? My shrimp actively pursued my clownfish, the clownfish looked startled and would wiggle away quickly. Sometimes the shrimp would follow them around the tank.

Got some pics - not the greatest but you can see it on his left side the best. Those dots you see in the final pick are from the glass I believe. I havent seen any on his fins like that.
