The light I think is actuaaly called Lunar Aqua light made by CORALIFE and the only number I see on the box is an item number it may help. The item number is 53406. I will try to get a picture posted later to night.

Thanks for the link. It indeed looks to be a bootlace worm. Evidently they can get pretty big (up to 50 ft) but I still do not know whether to get him out or if he is harmless.

With help, I figured out how to post pics. It started off at about 2 inches long then stretched to over a foot. It is purple with no identifyable head or tail but seems to move in a certain direction. Came from under the LR, scoped out the substrate then returned under the rock. Any ideas on...

I had just a cannister on an old tank- a 55. I now have both a cannister and a sunp on my 110. I like the cannister for added filtration and the sump is nice to put protien skimmers and such in.

I will try some bigger PH's. Is tis the only thing to try? No other suggestions?

Where is your skimmer located? If it's a hang-on then try putting a piece of sponge filter where the water falls into the tank. If you have to cut a slit in the sponge so that the lip of the waterfall can fit into it.This will keep it in place. I had the same problem and this worked well.

Thanks, I'll try to hit that area a little more. Right now I have a large power head, maxi jet 900, at each end and a 2 foot spray bar (from the sump) in the middle of the tank- which is a 110 gal. The circulation seems to be OK but do you think more is needed?
