So would you need to supplement with 10K or not...? Just if you wanted a little more blue, right? Otherwise, 10K bulbs would do fine by themselves?

Most likely your assumption is correct. Just make sure that your skimmer is producing the thousands of tiny bubbles. No bubbles...not good. Also, make sure the water level in the skimmer is met.

I agree with the Captain. Burrowing Sand Sifter Stars are great. You only see them once in awhile. They spend most of their time under the sand eating crap.

Recently purchased a Pohnpei Ultra Maxima. Is doing great and I have him in the sand. What do you think? Should Maximas be in the sand or on rock?

Question regarding clams: Should they be set in the sand bed, or can you keep them up high sitting on LR. I've never seen a clam sitting on LR, only sand. Just curious
