Ich is in every aquarium it is introduced to and will never go away. One parasite of ich will make many others and is always in the tank, it is only when the fish is stressed is when this becomes a problem, the ich reproduce where your fish sleep and this is because that is where they came off.

You can get a whole family, start them all as juv. and one will grow up into a female, another a male and the others will stay unsexed just like in the reef. Personally though i would just get a pair.

I am feeding my cyclopeeze right now, they every once in a while will get a small mysis shrimp but they mostly only eat the cyclopeeze which is a type of zooplankton. They will also eat pods off your liverock. It won't eat that stuff yet, wait til it gets to about 3 inches maybe a little...

I have 5.71 watts per gallon in my 210 and my zoos are out of control. I have had good results with 3-4 but anything above 5 is great! Also its not so much on the watts per gallon but the type of lights used, T5s and MHs are the way to go IMO.

I have used distilled in the past and have never had a problem, but this is good to know.

What are you trying to ask?

I am having this same problem and have excellent water quality and I also use RO water. I am very interested in an answer as well.
