Thats what i would use. That and a self ballating PC bulb from the local petstore. Eclipse makes them, that what i have on my fuge. THe bulb at least, i modified my eclipse tank for a fuge so i just used the fiture it came with. But that clamp light would be fine, and its only $6, id do 2 though.

The drain should be larger than the return. Too large of a return will make it difficult for the pump to push the water back. The larger the drain the more water will flow, the return pipe doesnt need to be as big because you have the pump forcing water up it.

I ended up- not using the bottom drawer because it wouldnt have enough vbolume for a pwer outage, and removed it and put the whole thing into a big rubbermaid container for the sump at the bottom. Jasen

Most people say that 10X the capacity of the tank is the gph flow rate required. I tend to agree, with the need for current in a tank for fish happiness, and for general well being of other inhabitants and filtration needs its important to get sufficient flow. Plus you wont really get all 800...

With all that, you should have plenty of filtration. More than enough. The flow through the sump will be adequate and an airstone shouldnt be necessary. Be advised to ensure your water level in the sump portion isnt maintained too high so that way in the event of a power failure you dont flood...
