I have switched over to using ScotchBrite pads in place of the more costly OEM's, in my wet/dry... I also find they do a much better job at removing small particles for pre-filtration, but they do need changed out every couple of weeks.

I have the 260w 48" Aqualights, and love them. Do a search on ----, and you'll find them for $179... that's where I bought mine.

...has anyone ever tried using them to spot focus specific corals..? I got to thinking about these last night, and wondered what the general consensus was, or if anyone else had ever given thought to trying them.

NO = Normal Output These are the basic "El Cheapo" lights that come standard w/ aquarium systems. Just upgrade the bulbs, and you should be fine for a fish only setup.

I'm thinkin' strobe lights, disco balls, and surround sound baby! Hmmmmmm -- Maybe if I were to drop in a set of waterproof speakers and play ELO's "Turn To Stone", 24/7, the coraline will get the idea and spread... :D

I received the "ECO-Aqualizer" yesterday and immediately installed it... I have had a problem with micro bubbles from the on-set, and as of now (24 hours later), the bubbles are nearly non-existent. I have no idea if there is any coorelation or not, but nothing else has changed in the past...

Admitting to my wife how much $$$ has actually been invested in this hobby... :eek:
