I have the JBJ Formosa DX-JG3 260 watts. Is this enough lite for the Sebae Anemone? I am now thinking that it just mite a little late for the QT tank. But what are the things I need for a tank like this? Power head, heater, light, do you really need LS and LR?

Can anybody tell what this stuff is? And why are the bubbles showing up in and on top of the sand? The yellow dots are the air bubbles, hey I tried to make them a little more easier to see not sure if it worked.

I'm not sure if the L/R was cured when I purchased it not. The LFS guy said that holding goes threw a cycle once every 20 days. Maybe from anew shipment that comes in. So is it safe to start adding fish and corals (slowly, real slow)? I'm worried about the influx on the bio load and the tank...

So let me see if I've got this right. You don't have to use all live sand for a DSB, you can "seed" it with just a 20# bag? If so what else could I use? What is "play sand"? Sorry for the questions. I thought that you had to use all live sand.
